Palo Alto Networks completed the acquisition of Demisto, a security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR) vendor, to integrate Demisto's automation and AI capabilities into its Cortex security platform. The deal was valued at approximately $560 million in cash and stock and is intended to expand Palo Alto Networks' automated threat prevention and response capabilities for security operations teams.
