Satori Capital has acquired Formulife, a specialty contract manufacturer of custom-formulated nutritional supplements based in Allen, Texas. Brookside Capital Partners provided a unitranche debt facility and an equity co-investment to facilitate the transaction; Satori will use part of the investment to complete a major expansion of Formulife's production facility to more than double capacity and reduce customer lead times.

Swander Pace Capital Partners with Inovata Foods

Swander Pace Capital has made a platform investment in Inovata Foods, a Canadian private-label manufacturer of frozen entrées, partnering with founders Steve and Lisa Parsons to accelerate capacity expansion. The deal positions Inovata to grow its retail, club store and foodservice business across Canada and the U.S., with Ernst & Young Orenda advising Inovata on the transaction.

Florida Food Products Acquires T-Bev, Inc. from Swander Pace Capital

Swander Pace Capital Acquires Maple Donuts

Nutricia (Danone) Acquires Real Food Blends

Nutricia, part of Danone's Specialized Nutrition business, has acquired Real Food Blends, a Chesterton, Indiana-based maker of 100% real-food meals for people who rely on feeding tubes. The founders, Julie and Tony Bombacino, will remain in their roles as CEO and President while Nutricia intends to scale the Real Food Blends portfolio and expand its reach through Nutricia/Danone's broader distribution and clinical channels.

San Francisco Equity Partners Acquires Formula Corp

San Francisco Equity Partners (SFEP) has acquired a majority stake in Formula Corp, a Washington-based formulator and contract manufacturer of cleaning products for consumer and professional end markets. Formula Corp co-founders Chas Werner and Alan Gangl will remain shareholders; Alexander Hutton acted as exclusive financial advisor to Formula Corp. SFEP said it will support Formula’s growth leveraging its experience building private-label and specialty manufacturing businesses focused on sustainable formulations and eco-friendly packaging.
