Avantus Aerospace Acquires Fastener Innovation Technology (FIT)

Avantus Aerospace, a PE-backed aerospace C-class parts group, acquired Fastener Innovation Technology Corporation (FIT) of Rancho Dominguez, California as an add-on to expand its specialty fastener capabilities. FIT (founded 1979) will continue to be led by its existing management and will be integrated with Avantus’s fastener businesses to better serve aerospace OEM and defense customers including Boeing, Raytheon and Lockheed Martin.

Avem intends to stabilize operations at FMI's 226,000-square-foot Valencia, California manufacturing facility, leverage customer relationships with major aerospace OEMs, and expand its aerospace and defense manufacturing footprint.
