Avantus Aerospace Acquires Fastener Innovation Technology (FIT)

Avantus Aerospace, a PE-backed aerospace C-class parts group, acquired Fastener Innovation Technology Corporation (FIT) of Rancho Dominguez, California as an add-on to expand its specialty fastener capabilities. FIT (founded 1979) will continue to be led by its existing management and will be integrated with Avantus’s fastener businesses to better serve aerospace OEM and defense customers including Boeing, Raytheon and Lockheed Martin.

Schivo Acquires Supreme Screw Products, Inc.

Schivo, an Ireland-based OEM contract manufacturer (PE-backed), has acquired Supreme Screw Products, Inc., a Plainview, New York-based precision machining and assembly supplier to the medical device market. The acquisition adds two U.S. manufacturing facilities and capabilities in micro-machining, laser processing, and assembly, strengthening Schivo's footprint and technical capabilities in minimally invasive surgery and life sciences.

Shimtech Industries Acquires Fastener Technology Corp

(FTC), a North Hollywood supplier of high-strength specialty fasteners for commercial and military aerospace customers. FTC will remain led by its existing management team and will integrate with Shimtech's aerospace divisions to expand manufacturing capacity and product offerings.

JW Hill Capital Acquires Performance Plastics and Angeles Composites Technologies

Stellus Capital Management provided unitranche financing and an equity co-investment to support the transaction; financial terms were not disclosed.

New State Capital Partners Acquires AVEX

New State Capital Partners has acquired AVEX, a leading North American dealer and maintenance provider for the Daher TBM turboprop, from founder Terry Winson, who is retiring. AVEX — which operates in California and Colorado and provides aircraft sales, maintenance and aftermarket services — will serve as the anchor investment for New State's new aviation platform; terms were not disclosed.
