Tecan Group (SIX: TECN) has acquired IBL International, a Hamburg-based specialist in microtiter plate immunoassays, for EUR 29.0 million in cash. IBL will join Tecan’s Life Sciences Business to enable integrated instrument-plus-reagent solutions for specialty diagnostics, supporting Tecan’s shift toward higher recurring revenues.
