Justin Nihiser, Barry Gibson, and Matt Rogers announced a majority acquisition of WonderPlay Brands, the parent company of Kidcreate Studio. WonderPlay Brands will continue operating under its existing curriculum and studio model, led by President Mark Nicpon and Founder/Chief Creative Officer Lara Olson, while the new ownership group focuses on accelerating growth, strengthening franchise performance, and enhancing marketing and shared services.

Bain Capital Double Impact announced a new investment in American College of Education (ACE), following CIC Partners’ successful realization and exit from its investment that began in 2020. The transaction, completed in the fourth quarter of 2025, marks a transition to ACE’s next growth phase; financial terms were not disclosed.

Quizlet acquired Coconote, an AI-powered note-taking and study coach app that converts audio/video recordings into organized study materials. The deal expands Quizlet’s audio-based learning and AI study workflow capabilities into a more unified learning platform. Accretive Partners advised Coconote on the transaction.

Busy Bees North America (BBNA) announced its expansion into Washington State through the acquisition of thirteen early learning centers in the greater Seattle area. The deal includes seven Kids N Us Early Learning Schools and six Birch Tree Academy locations, adding approximately 380 staff and serving more than 1,575 additional children and families.

PlayVS, a scholastic and collegiate esports platform, acquired Vanta Esports to combine the two education-focused scholastic esports communities in the United States. The deal adds roughly 3,000 K–12 schools to the PlayVS network and brings Vanta’s coaching-led, youth-safe (COPPA-compliant) esports programs and marquee events under PlayVS; financial terms were not disclosed.

Newsela acquired Schoolytics, an analytics and AI platform used by K–12 districts to measure, monitor, and manage student data; financial terms were not disclosed. Newsela plans to integrate Schoolytics across its product portfolio—starting with Balanced Assessment by Formative—to help districts consolidate fragmented academic, behavioral, engagement, attendance, and progress data and streamline MTSS/RTI workflows.

Broadtree Partners LLC, a lower middle market private equity firm, acquired The CFO Project LLC, a membership-based education and mentorship platform for accountants and finance professionals building CFO advisory practices. The transaction was supported by Salem Investment Partners, and Broadtree Operating Partner Dyanna Salcedo was appointed CEO following the acquisition.

Following a 2024 merger between PeopleGrove and CORE Higher Education Group, the combined company is now operating under the PeopleGrove brand with an integrated website and unified product suite. The rebranded company will continue offering the CORE product suite alongside PeopleGrove’s existing solutions to support higher-education institutions across experiential learning, accreditation, engagement, and career readiness.

Trivest Partners and Lunchline Partners formed Lunchline Youth Brands, a new platform focused on early education and youth enrichment franchisors in the United States. Concurrent with the platform launch, the investors made a strategic growth investment in LeafSpring Schools, an early childhood education franchisor with locations across the Southeastern U.S.

School Specialty, LLC announced it has acquired Nasco Education U.S., a developer and distributor of instructional materials and specialized learning products for the preK-12 market. The combination is intended to expand product breadth and create procurement efficiencies for school customers, with the two organizations operating independently in the near term and integrating gradually.

360training.com, Inc., a global provider of online compliance and professional education, acquired UST Training, an online provider of state-approved underground storage tank (UST) operator training. The deal adds UST Training’s trademarked Tank Savvy course catalog and UST compliance expertise to 360training’s platform, expanding its regulated environmental, health and safety (EHS) training offering nationwide.

Japan Educational Foundation (JEF) completed its acquisition of LIM College after securing all required regulatory approvals. LIM College will continue to operate independently in New York City under its existing name and leadership as part of JEF’s international higher education portfolio.

Main Street Capital Corporation completed a new $47.0 million portfolio investment to facilitate the minority recapitalization of a leading swim school franchisee. The investment, completed alongside the company’s existing owners and management team, included first-lien senior secured term debt and a direct minority equity investment.

Point Quest Group, a national provider of special education staffing and services, acquired LinkUp Teletherapy, a virtual speech therapy provider serving Missouri, California, and other states. The deal expands Point Quest Group’s teletherapy capacity for K–12 schools and brings LinkUp’s therapist-designed, HIPAA-compliant platform in-house as Point Quest Group’s proprietary speech therapy tool.

EnterOne, a global provider of advanced technology training and services, announced the acquisition (structured as an acqui-hire) of Lumious (formerly Tech2000 Inc., dba Lumious), a learning and development solutions provider focused on IT and education. The deal expands EnterOne’s learning & development capabilities across areas such as cloud technologies, DevOps, and customized workforce enablement, while strengthening its presence in North America. Lumious will continue operating under its brand during the transition period.

Northstar Capital partnered with Seaside Equity Partners to support the refinancing of TalentSmartEQ through a credit facility and an equity co-investment. TalentSmartEQ, headquartered in San Diego, California, provides emotional intelligence (EQ) training, assessments, development solutions, and certification programs.

Edmentum acquired MajorClarity from Paper to expand Edmentum’s career-connected learning and academic planning capabilities for secondary students. The combination is intended to create an end-to-end platform that links career discovery, academic planning, CTE curriculum, and certification preparation to support both college-bound and career-ready pathways.

Cotulla Education announced the acquisition of American Lineman College, an electrical line-working and climbing school based in Bakersfield, California. The deal adds line-worker training and education to Cotulla Education’s portfolio as it aims to strengthen skilled-trades workforce pipelines and address labor shortages in the U.S. utility sector.

Spartan Education Group (SEG) acquired Aviator Air Flight School, LLC (Aviator Air), a flight training location and full-service fixed-base operator (FBO) at Grand Prairie Municipal Airport in Grand Prairie, Texas. SEG assumed ownership and operations on October 15, 2025, expanding its aviation training network into the Texas market and adding Aviator Air’s FAA Part 61 pilot training capabilities.

K12 Coalition acquired Keys to Literacy (KTL) and Professional Development Institute (PDI) to expand its portfolio of literacy curriculum and educator professional learning solutions for K-12 school districts. The combination is intended to create a more comprehensive, outcomes-driven ecosystem spanning evidence-based literacy training, coaching, and flexible online professional development courses.

Level Education Group, LLC (LEG) announced it has acquired Triad, a provider of exam preparation, continuing education, and career resources for behavioral and mental health professionals. The combination aims to create an end-to-end education and professional development platform spanning licensure preparation through ongoing continuing education and career support.

Campus, an online two-year college, acquired Sizzle AI, an AI-powered learning platform used by over 1.7 million users. The deal is intended to accelerate Campus’s engineering roadmap and integrate Sizzle’s interactive, AI-generated learning tools into Campus’s live online instruction. Following the acquisition, Sizzle founder Jerome Pesenti will join Campus as Chief Technology Officer.

Wilson Language Training, a structured literacy and dyslexia intervention provider, announced the acquisition of Valley Speech, an evidence-based literacy instruction provider for multilingual learners founded by Dr. Elsa Cárdenas-Hagan. The combination brings together Wilson’s English-language structured literacy programs and Valley Speech’s Spanish literacy program Esperanza to expand literacy solutions and professional learning for multilingual learners.

IXL Learning announced it has acquired Evan-Moor Educational Publishers, a Monterey, California-based creator of PreK–8 workbooks and instructional resources. The acquisition expands IXL Learning’s publishing footprint and is intended to combine Evan-Moor’s content with IXL’s learning technology to offer a broader suite of tools for educators and families.

AlphaBEST Education acquired iCAMP, a STEM-focused summer camp and enrichment provider operating in New York and Connecticut. The deal expands AlphaBEST’s footprint by roughly 100 additional schools and adds two states, with iCAMP’s coding, robotics, game design, and digital arts programming to be integrated into AlphaBEST’s out-of-school offerings.

Ignite Reading, a Science of Reading-based virtual tutoring provider, announced the acquisition of Esteam, an AI-driven education startup. The deal is intended to augment Ignite Reading’s one-on-one human tutoring with AI-enabled assessment, skill mapping, and practice (including automatic speech recognition) to personalize reading instruction at scale. Financial terms were not disclosed.

95 Percent Group LLC, a portfolio company of Leeds Equity Partners, acquired All About Learning Press Inc., a provider of structured, multisensory literacy programs for homeschool families and educators. The deal expands 95 Percent Group’s offerings beyond classroom-focused literacy solutions into the homeschool market, adding products such as All About Reading, All About Spelling, and All About Math.

Taurus Capital Partners made a platform investment in Pathlight Learning, a leading franchisee of Primrose Schools, partnering with existing management to form and recapitalize the business. The transaction supports Pathlight’s continued growth and expansion of Primrose early education and childcare centers under franchise owner and leader Sarah Albahadily.

Ethos Software portfolio company Peterson's LLC acquired Animal Behavior College (ABC), a vocational school that trains pet care professionals. ABC, founded by Steven Appelbaum and headquartered in Southern California, will become a division of Peterson's effective immediately.

Climb Credit announced it has acquired Career Karma, an education discovery platform that helps prospective students explore and navigate career training programs. The deal combines Career Karma’s program discovery and advising capabilities with Climb Credit’s student payment platform to support learners from exploration through enrollment and beyond.

Uwill, a student mental health and wellness platform, announced it has acquired tbh, a provider of technology-enabled basic needs support for students and young adults. The deal expands Uwill’s platform beyond teletherapy and crisis services to include resources addressing food insecurity, housing instability, and transportation challenges through tbh’s AI-powered benefits and resource navigation capabilities.

Summit Professional Education, a portfolio company of Avathon Capital, acquired Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, a provider of pelvic floor rehabilitation education and training curricula. Monroe Capital supported the transaction by arranging a senior credit facility and providing an equity co-investment to finance the acquisition.

Affinity Esports Group acquired CT Esports Academy, expanding its esports programming presence in Wilton, Connecticut. The deal also supports an expanded partnership with Riverbrook Regional YMCA to deliver after-school programs, clubs, events, and coaching beginning in the fall.

Edcetera, an Eden Capital-backed provider of career education programs, acquired Pulse Radiology Institute (PRI), an online radiology school offering a licensed Associate of Science degree specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). The deal combines PRI’s degree-granting programs with Pulse Radiology Education’s didactic and clinical placement services to create an end-to-end pathway into MRI technologist careers. Edcetera also plans to expand into additional allied health degrees, including an RN-to-BSN program targeted for 2026.

Banyan Software announced the acquisition of Zap Solutions, a provider of full-cycle admissions management software for medical and graduate schools. Zap’s cloud-based SaaS platform, AMP, supports admissions workflows from pre-application through decision-making and is used by medical and graduate science programs as well as hospital systems across North America and Australia.

Sonoran Desert Institute (SDI) acquired CL Driving School, LLC, a CDL truck-driving training provider based in Indian Trail, North Carolina. The transaction closed on July 23, 2025, with Generational Group advising CL Driving School on the sale.

Quality Maritime Training, a USCG-approved maritime certifications provider based in Florida, has been acquired by Mason Christensen and Duncan Hamilton of The Kimberton Group. The deal expands The Kimberton Group’s maritime training portfolio, following its earlier acquisition of Sea School. Viking Mergers & Acquisitions (Andrew Hakkarainen and Max Roix) facilitated the transaction.

CEA CAPA Education Abroad, a portfolio company of Infinedi Partners, completed the acquisition of CIS Abroad, CISaustralia and Barcelona SAE (collectively “CIS”). The businesses were acquired from their parent company, Global Educators, expanding CEA CAPA’s education abroad and career readiness program offerings for U.S. and Australian undergraduate students globally.

Funds managed by Harvest Partners completed a majority acquisition of The Learning Experience (TLE) from Golden Gate Capital. TLE, headquartered in Deerfield Beach, Florida, is a franchisor and operator of early childhood education centers, and its management team led by co-founder and CEO Richard Weissman will continue to run the business and retain significant ownership. Golden Gate Capital will retain a minority interest; financial terms were not disclosed.

Golden Peak Media acquired Creativebug, an online arts and crafts learning platform formerly owned by Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores. The deal combines two arts-and-crafts education and content providers to expand digital learning and community offerings for makers. Creativebug will remain headquartered in Berkeley, California under General Manager Liana Allday.

Argosy Private Equity acquired a controlling interest in Heavy Equipment Colleges of America (HEC/HECOA), a nationally accredited provider of heavy equipment, crane, directional drilling, and HVAC training programs. Headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada, HEC operates four campuses across the U.S. (Georgia, Oklahoma, California, and Washington) and plans to expand programs and pursue add-on acquisitions with Argosy’s support.

U.S. News & World Report announced a majority acquisition of Sups, an AI-powered college admissions guidance platform. Sups will join the CollegeAdvisor.com division of U.S. News to expand AI-enabled admissions advising and broaden access to college application guidance for students globally.

IMG Academy announced the acquisition of SportsRecruits, a college sports recruiting service offering products for student-athletes, families, coaches, teams, and event operators. SportsRecruits will be brought alongside IMG Academy’s NCSA College Recruiting to expand and strengthen IMG Academy’s overall college recruiting network. Financial terms were not disclosed.

TrueLearn, a healthcare digital learning and analytics platform, acquired COMQUEST, a test preparation and question-bank provider serving the osteopathic medical education community. The combination brings together complementary platforms used by osteopathic medical schools and students, with plans to maintain each brand while enhancing content, data, and analytics capabilities for learners and educators.

Next Level Education (NLE) acquired Summit Mortgage Training, a provider of pre-licensing and NMLS continuing education courses for mortgage professionals. The acquisition expands NLE’s training content library and strengthens its reach among mortgage professionals across the U.S. East Coast, with Summit founder Andrea Gagliardi joining NLE as Director of Content Management.

Echo360 announced it has acquired GoReact to add AI-powered video-based skill assessment and real-time feedback capabilities to Echo360’s Echosystem Learning Transformation Platform. The combination is intended to expand Echo360’s enterprise learning technology suite for education and corporate training by enhancing competency-based assessment, engagement, and measurable learning outcomes.

Archer Review, a healthcare education company backed by Leeds Equity Partners, has acquired Core Anesthesia, an educational podcast and mobile app focused on nurse anesthetist (SRNA/CRNA) education. The deal expands Archer Review’s advanced practice nursing offerings and supports building enhanced exam-prep resources such as question banks and mock examinations using Archer’s technology and platform.

Accenture has acquired Ascendient Learning, a subsidiary of Axcel Learning, from Alpine Investors. The deal expands Accenture LearnVantage’s instructor-led IT and digital skills training and certification capabilities, adding a catalog of more than 850 courses and a team of nearly 75 professionals.

360training.com, Inc. has acquired Ready Training Online (RTO), an online training provider focused on the restaurant and convenience store sectors. The deal expands 360training’s learning management, compliance, and workforce training offerings for service and retail industry customers, particularly in convenience retail and food & beverage.

Summit Professional Education, an Avathon Capital portfolio company, announced that The Knowledge Tree has joined Summit to expand Summit’s continuing education offerings into behavioral health, certification programs, and exam preparation. The Knowledge Tree’s founder, Dr. Becky Beaton-York, will continue to lead efforts to enhance mental health training as the organizations integrate interactive virtual learning capabilities.

Intirion Corporation, the B2B division of Danby Appliances, acquired approximately two-thirds of the academic direct rental division of Collegiate Concepts, Inc. The deal expands Intirion’s direct rental programs serving North American colleges and universities, combining the companies’ school-focused rental offerings and MicroFridge product portfolio.

Panorama Education, an education technology company, announced the acquisition of Class Companion, an AI tool that provides instant feedback and tutoring to students. The deal expands Panorama’s suite of AI-powered products for K-12 educators and districts, aiming to improve personalized instruction, educator efficiency, and student outcomes.

Apptegy, a provider of communication and brand management solutions for K-12 school districts, announced it has completed the acquisition of AlwaysOn. The deal adds AlwaysOn’s AI-powered, multilingual K-12 chatbot and analytics capabilities to Apptegy’s school communications platform to provide 24/7 support and deeper community insights for districts.

VitalSource Technologies, LLC acquired RedShelf, a Chicago-based course materials distributor serving hundreds of U.S. higher education institutions. The deal expands VitalSource’s network of institutional and publisher partners and adds scale and talent to accelerate digital course materials delivery and affordability initiatives.

CMVC acquired Orlando Medical Institute (OMI), adding a new campus in Orlando, Florida and expanding CMVC’s healthcare education offerings. The deal adds EMT, Paramedic, and an Associate Degree in Emergency Medical Services programs to CMVC’s portfolio and expands access to emergency medical training across multiple Florida locations.

360training.com, Inc. acquired three online regulatory training brands—TABC On The Fly, Certified On The Fly, and BASSET On The Fly—to expand its food and beverage compliance training portfolio. The deal strengthens 360training’s presence in alcohol seller-server and food handler certification programs across Texas and Illinois.

Vista Higher Learning acquired MyConversationTrainer, an AI-powered platform for Spanish conversation practice. The deal expands Vista Higher Learning’s language-learning technology portfolio with tools that help educators create and share conversation activities with instant, personalized feedback. Financial terms were not disclosed.

American Healthcare Institute (AmHealth), in partnership with Salt Venture Partners, acquired Tampa-based Faith Academy, a provider of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and Home Health Aide training programs. The deal is intended to expand access to affordable, career-focused healthcare education in the Tampa area while continuing Faith Academy’s existing programs and student-success focus.

American Healthcare Institute (AmHealth), in partnership with Salt Venture Partners, acquired Faith Academy, a Tampa-based provider of Home Health Aide and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) programs. The deal expands AmHealth’s affordable, career-focused healthcare education offerings in the Tampa market and is intended to maintain and grow Faith Academy’s existing programs during a transition beginning in mid-March 2025.

StraighterLine, an online education provider, announced its acquisition of Preppy, an online platform offering affordable career and certification training programs. The deal expands StraighterLine’s portfolio into job-ready certifications and workforce training, complementing its existing education brands such as ChildCare Education Institute and ProSolutions Training.

Ascend Learning acquired Clover Learning, an online diagnostic imaging education provider, to expand its allied health education and certification offerings. The deal strengthens Ascend’s portfolio (including National Healthcareer Association) by adding imaging-focused training, certification exam preparation, and continuing education content.

Pryor Learning, LLC, backed by Trive Capital and Epic Partners, acquired PeopleKeys, Inc. PeopleKeys provides behavioral assessments (including DISC), analytics, certifications, and consulting services supporting hiring, upskilling, and organizational development. The deal expands Pryor’s training and learning curriculum by adding assessment and benchmarking analytics capabilities.

McGraw Hill acquired Essaypop, an interactive, cloud-based K-12 writing solution built by teachers. The deal expands McGraw Hill’s portfolio of digital literacy tools and supports its personalized learning and broader digital transformation strategy. McGraw Hill is a portfolio company of Platinum Equity, and this marks its fourth transaction since Platinum Equity acquired McGraw Hill in 2021.

KnowFully Learning Group announced it has acquired EfficientCME, a provider of continuing medical education for healthcare professionals. The deal expands KnowFully Medical Education (KME), alongside existing brands CME Outfitters (CMEO) and Creative Educational Concepts (CEC), to broaden therapeutic-area coverage and accelerate innovation in CME offerings.

Archer Review, a healthcare education company backed by Leeds Equity Partners, has acquired OnlineMedEd, a provider of medical education curriculum and supplemental learning solutions for medical students and schools. The combination is intended to create a broader tech-enabled learning ecosystem spanning medical and nursing education and expand reach across healthcare learners.

Inspired Education, a global group of premium schools, announced it has acquired US Performance Academy (USPA), an online school focused on serving elite student-athletes with a flexible, accredited curriculum. The deal expands Inspired’s online education presence in the United States and adds student-athlete and elite sporting education capabilities alongside Inspired’s existing online schools, including King’s InterHigh, King’s InterHigh USA, and Academy21.

Big Blue Marble Academy (BBMA) acquired The Cedarhouse School, an early childhood education provider in Midlothian, Virginia. The deal marks BBMA’s first school in Virginia and expands its national footprint as Cedarhouse founder Elizabeth Bale retires. The transaction was confidential and was brokered by HINGE Early Education Advisors.

Kalkomey Enterprises, LLC, a provider of online recreational safety education, announced an investment from The Stephens Group, LLC to support the company’s continued expansion. As part of the investment, Stephens Group Senior Managing Director Aaron Clark will join Kalkomey’s Board of Directors. Existing investors Macquarie Capital and Weatherford Capital will continue to support Kalkomey alongside Stephens Group.

Fairmount Soccer Association, Philadelphia City FC, and United Philly Soccer Club are uniting in a merger to form a single new youth soccer organization, Inter Philly (Philadelphia International Football Club). The combined entity will consolidate programs, coaching, and facilities across the Greater Philadelphia area, with players transitioning under the new club identity starting in the Fall 2025 season.

FullBloom announced the acquisition of CharacterStrong, a provider of PreK-12, multi-tier, school-based mental health curricula, resources, training, and interventions. The deal expands FullBloom’s school-based mental health footprint and strengthens its ability to integrate academic, behavioral, and mental health programming for K-12 partners.

Northlane Capital Partners (NCP) made an investment in Plus Delta Partners (PDP), a provider of specialized fundraising training and tools for higher education, healthcare organizations, and other nonprofits. Stellus Capital Management affiliates provided senior debt (unitranche) financing and an equity co-investment to support the transaction, with NCP investing alongside PDP’s management team and founder Guy Hart. The investment is described as PDP’s first institutional capital partnership.

The Riverside Company acquired Wall Street Prep, Inc. (WSP), a provider of financial training solutions, certifications, and instructor-led programs for corporate and university clients. Riverside purchased WSP from Eden Capital, which had invested in the company in 2021; WSP’s leadership team, led by CEO Matan Feldman, will remain in place. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Graycliff Partners LP completed a unitranche debt and minority equity investment in Guidewell Education. Guidewell Education provides college admissions counseling, test prep, academic tutoring, and related educational services to students in the United States and the United Kingdom. The financing will support Guidewell’s continued growth strategy across the educational ecosystem.

Avathon Capital, a private equity firm focused on education and workforce markets, acquired Yellow Brick Road Early Childhood Development Center, a founder-owned network of early childhood education centers. Yellow Brick Road operates 25 centers serving families across Minnesota, Nebraska, and Iowa, and will continue to be led by CEO Jessica Johnsen.

BARBRI acquired Quimbee, a digital learning platform offering subscription-based law school study aids and an extensive library of case briefs. The combination is intended to strengthen BARBRI’s law school education offerings and expand support for law students and legal institutions.

Elsmere Education and Human Capital Research Corporation (HCRC) merged to create Human Capital Education, combining services spanning marketing, enrollment/retention support, data insights, and higher-education CRM solutions (Slate and Salesforce). As part of the strategic merger, Haven Capital Partners joined as a minority growth investor to support the combined company’s product development and expansion.

Moving Traditions announced it has acquired jGirls+ Magazine, an online magazine and community for self-identifying Jewish girls and nonbinary youth. The partnership is intended to expand jGirls+ Magazine’s reach and resources while strengthening both organizations’ efforts around youth engagement in feminism, activism, and self-expression.

EnterOne (a Trainocate company) has acquired TLG Learning, a corporate IT training provider headquartered in Bellevue, Washington. The deal expands EnterOne’s vendor-certified training offerings and strengthens its presence and capabilities on the U.S. West Coast. The acquisition did not include TLGITCareers.com, which remains with Technology Learning Group, Inc. as a career training business unit.

Unleashed Brands announced the acquisition of Water Wings Swim School, a year-round swim instruction provider serving children and adults. The deal expands Unleashed Brands’ youth enrichment platform into the swim category and includes plans to launch a national franchise program for Water Wings, with co-founder Avi Shafshak remaining as Brand President. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Stukent, a provider of experiential learning products including Simternships and courseware, acquired BusinessU, an interactive curriculum platform for high school business classrooms. The deal expands Stukent’s subject offerings and integrates BusinessU’s customizable, standards-based courseware into Stukent’s education tools; Stukent is a portfolio company of Tritium Partners.

Cengage Group, a global education technology company, acquired Visible Body, a provider of interactive 3D anatomy and science models and software. The deal is intended to enhance Cengage’s science offerings by integrating Visible Body’s immersive 3D, augmented, and mixed reality learning assets across higher education and K-12 courseware.

Busy Bees North America (Busy Bees Group) acquired Learn and Play Montessori School, comprising 15 early childhood education centers across the San Francisco Bay Area, marking Busy Bees’ entry into California. Learn and Play, founded in 2008 by Harpreet Grewal and Kiran Grewal, will continue to expand across California under Busy Bees’ ownership. The sale process was led by HINGE Early Education Advisors.

The deal expands Pikmykid’s visitor and attendance management capabilities and supports an end-to-end campus safety and operations platform spanning arrivals, visitor control, and dismissals.

Amazing Life Foundation and Orange, a provider of Christian curriculum for family ministry, announced a merger to combine Orange’s church and family ministry resources with Amazing Life’s technology and operational support. Following the transaction, Chris Heaslip, CEO of Amazing Life Foundation, will lead Orange while Orange continues operating from its headquarters in Cumming, Georgia.

Colibri Group, a professional education company backed by Gridiron Capital, acquired Boston Institute of Finance (BIF), a provider of financial planning and wealth management education. The deal expands Colibri’s financial services education portfolio by adding BIF’s CFP education/exam review offerings and its Certified Mutual Fund Specialist (CMFS) designation program. The transaction closed on January 2, 2025.

Perdoceo Education Corporation completed its previously announced acquisition of University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, LLC (USAHS) for approximately $138 million in cash (net of cash acquired), subject to customary post-closing adjustments and escrow arrangements. USAHS provides graduate health sciences degrees and continuing education through multiple U.S. campuses and online programs. Perdoceo expects the transaction to be accretive to adjusted operating income beginning in 2025.

H.I.G. Capital and Thoma Bravo signed a definitive agreement to acquire the CompTIA brand and its IT certification and training business and products from the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA). After closing (expected in early 2025, subject to customary regulatory approvals), CompTIA’s certification/training business will operate as a for-profit company under the buyers’ ownership, while the existing membership-based 501(c)(6) nonprofit association will be separated and continue its industry mission.
