Wix.com Ltd. acquired Base44, an AI-powered vibe-coding/no-code startup founded by Maor Shlomo, for approximately $80 million in cash plus additional earn-outs. Base44 — a six-month-old, bootstrapped company with roughly eight employees and rapid user growth — will continue operating as a distinct product while Wix integrates its generative-AI no-code capabilities into Wix’s AI portfolio; about $25 million of the consideration is earmarked for employee retention bonuses.

Front Acquires Windsor.io
