WhiteStar (Clearlake) Acquires Carlson Capital's Cathedral Lake CLOs

WhiteStar Asset Management, the CLO and structured products arm of Clearlake Capital, has acquired the management rights to five reinvesting Cathedral Lake CLOs from Carlson CLO Advisers, a subsidiary of Carlson Capital. The acquisition—effective March 31, 2022—adds more than $2.0 billion of CLO assets and brings WhiteStar's CLO AUM to roughly $12 billion, strengthening its credit and CLO platform.
