TransTech Energy (via new subsidiary) Acquires Majority of ENERGYneering Solutions, Inc.

TransTech Energy, a portfolio company of Bridge Industries, through a newly formed subsidiary ENERGYneering Solutions, LLC, acquired a majority ownership stake in ENERGYneering Solutions, Inc., a biogas engineering and services provider based in Sisters, Oregon. The add-on expands TransTech’s biogas engineering, construction, operations and maintenance capabilities and strengthens its West Coast presence while ENERGYneering’s president Benny Benson will retain an ownership stake and remain as president.

Platinum Equity Acquires JELD-WEN Australasia (Ventora Group) for $461M

Platinum Equity completed the $461 million acquisition of JELD-WEN's Australasia windows, doors and related building products business in July 2023. The carve-out (rebranded Ventora Group) operates ~41 manufacturing sites across Australia, Malaysia and Indonesia, employs roughly 5,000 people, and will be run by Scott Kelly as CEO while Platinum invests in capacity, automation and IT improvements to capitalize on rising energy-efficiency demand.

HitecVision Acquires 50% of Polska Grupa Biogazowa from TotalEnergies

HitecVision has agreed to buy a 50% stake in Polska Grupa Biogazowa (PGB) from TotalEnergies for an enterprise value of €190 million under a signed SPA. PGB is Poland’s leading biogas operator with 20 operating units and c.450 GWh of equivalent biomethane capacity (targeting 2 TWh by 2030); the partnership will support scaling via greenfield projects and M&A and remains subject to regulatory approvals.

Equistone Acquires Majority Stake in Gardengate from Crest Capital Partners

Equistone Partners Europe has acquired a majority stake in Gardengate, a Braga-based manufacturer of aluminium gates, doors and other outdoor-home aluminium products, with Crest Capital Partners retaining a minority stake alongside the founder and management team. Equistone plans to support Gardengate's international expansion (Benelux, Germany, UK), broaden its product range, grow its online presence and consolidate Portuguese production to increase capacity and profitability.

OpenGate Capital Acquires ScioTeq and TREALITY from TransDigm Group

OpenGate Capital completed the acquisition of the ScioTeq and TREALITY Simulation Visual Systems businesses from TransDigm Group. The businesses develop ruggedized displays and simulation systems serving avionics, aerospace, air traffic control and defense end markets; combined headcount is approximately 450 employees and operations are primarily in Belgium and the United States.

Visioneering, Inc. (3P Equity Partners) Acquires Plasco Tooling and Engineering Corporation

Visioneering, Inc., a portfolio company of family office 3P Equity Partners, has acquired the assets of Plasco Tooling and Engineering Corporation. The deal adds Plasco’s composite tooling, fixtures and patented stretch form die technology and 42,000 ft2 manufacturing capability in Romeo, Michigan to Visioneering’s aerospace tooling platform to expand capabilities in the aerospace and defense market.
