Uranium Energy Corp Acquires UEX Corporation

Uranium Energy Corp. (UEC) agreed to acquire all outstanding common shares of UEX Corporation (UEX) via a statutory plan of arrangement, using a share exchange of 0.0831 UEC shares for each UEX share (implied C$0.43 per UEX share, ~50% premium). The deal, expected to close in Q3 2022, combines UEC's U.S. production-ready ISR assets and physical uranium holdings with UEX's Canadian exploration portfolio in Saskatchewan and Nunavut to create a larger North American-focused uranium company.
