UFP Industries Acquires Endurable Building Products

UFP Industries, through a subsidiary of UFP Construction, has acquired the assets of Endurable Building Products, a Minnesota-based manufacturer of customized structural aluminum systems for decks, balconies and railings. The acquisition adds Endurable's alumiLAST® product line and experienced leadership to UFP's construction segment and expands UFP's offerings in the multifamily construction market; Endurable reported approximately $15 million in sales in 2020 and its leadership will remain with the business.

The acquisition expands UFP's industrial packaging and pressure-treated lumber capabilities, adding PalletOne's 17 manufacturing locations (22 total sites across affiliates), Sunbelt Forest Products and SunOne Logistics, and more than 1,500 employees.

An affiliate of Universal Forest Products, Inc. (d/b/a UFP Industries) acquired the operating assets of Quest Design & Fabrication, LLC and Quest Architectural Millwork, LLC (collectively "Quest"). Based near Houston, Texas, Quest designs, fabricates and installs premium architectural millwork and case goods for commercial end markets and reported approximately $22 million in sales in 2019; Quest's president and CEO Jon Deutser will remain in place. GulfStar Group served as Quest's exclusive financial advisor on the March 2020 transaction.
