Syntax, a financial data and technology company, has acquired the assets of Tyemill, a Seattle-based software research and development firm. The 24-person Tyemill team joined Syntax effective March 1, 2023, with Tyemill's CEO Ellen Anderson joining Syntax as Managing Director and Head of the Seattle office to strengthen Syntax's product research and development capabilities.

Syntax, a portfolio company of private equity firm Novacap TMT IV (which provided equity financing), will integrate EmeraldCube's software solutions and managed-services platform to expand its JD Edwards managed services and cloud offerings.
