Banyan Software, a permanent-capital enterprise software acquirer, has purchased HealthRx Corporation, a Fairfax, Virginia–based provider of research workflow, lab safety and occupational health management software (the Nexus platform). The acquisition brings HealthRx's specialized compliance and medical surveillance capabilities into Banyan's portfolio to support continued investment and product growth in the biomedical research and government health markets.

Sunshine Biopharma Inc. Acquires Nora Pharma Inc.

Sunshine Biopharma Inc. has completed the acquisition of all outstanding shares of Nora Pharma Inc., making Nora Pharma a wholly owned subsidiary. The deal (C$30.0 million) expands Sunshine’s business into generic prescription drugs, over‑the‑counter products and biosimilars and adds approximately $10.7 million in revenue and 36 employees based in the Greater Montreal area.

MedImpact Acquires Sav-Rx

McKesson Signs Agreement to Acquire Rx Savings Solutions

McKesson Corporation has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Rx Savings Solutions (RxSS), a prescription price transparency and benefit insight company focused on affordability and medication adherence for health plans and large self-funded employers. The transaction is valued up to $875 million ($600 million upfront plus up to $275 million contingent on RxSS performance through calendar year 2025) and is expected to close in the second half of fiscal 2023, subject to customary regulatory approvals. Following closing, RxSS will become part of McKesson’s Prescription Technology Solutions business.

Medvantx Acquires RxS

Medvantx, a San Diego-based pharmacy services provider, has acquired RxS, a multichannel sample management and accountability solutions company headquartered in Manalapan, New Jersey. The acquisition integrates RxS’s sampling and engagement technology with Medvantx’s patient access, PAP fulfillment, telehealth and distribution services to broaden capability and accelerate access for pharmaceutical and device manufacturers.
