Verallia Acquires Allied Glass from Sun European Partners

Verallia has signed a binding agreement to acquire 100% of Allied Glass, a UK-based premium glass packaging manufacturer headquartered in Leeds, from an affiliate of Sun European Partners LLP. The enterprise value of the deal is approximately £315 million, with Verallia financing it using existing cash and targeting completion by mid-November 2022.

Sun European Affiliate Acquires Adler & Allan

An affiliate of Sun European Partners has agreed to acquire Adler & Allan, a leading UK environmental risk reduction specialist, from funds managed by LDC for an undisclosed sum. The buyout gives Sun European a platform to pursue organic growth and further acquisitions in the environmental services market, leveraging Adler & Allan's national network, emergency-response contracts and 630 employees.

Sun European Partners Affiliate Acquires Vetrerie Riunite S.p.A.

An affiliate of Sun European Partners, LLP has agreed to acquire Vetrerie Riunite S.p.A. (VR Group), a leading Italian producer of technical glass (washing machine windows), glass tableware and refractory rollers. The seller is Finanziaria del Vetro; the transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and Sun says it will work with management to accelerate the company’s profitable growth.

Goldman Sachs Alternatives Acquires Adler & Allan from Sun European/Sun Capital Affiliate

The sale is subject to customary anti-trust and regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the coming months; Goldman Sachs intends to accelerate growth organically and via targeted acquisitions in the UK and overseas, with a focus on sustainability, climate transition and water services.
