Kian Capital-backed SPATCO Energy Solutions completed the acquisition of MSCS Ltd., a Dallas-based petroleum services company, expanding SPATCO's footprint into Texas and adding operations in Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio and Houston. The transaction is an add-on to the SPATCO platform (its fifth acquisition since Kian's 2020 investment) and supports the platform's geographic expansion and service capability growth in petroleum and EV infrastructure services.

(NYSE: KGS) executed a definitive merger agreement to acquire CSI Compressco LP (NASDAQ: CCLP) in an all-equity transaction valued at approximately $854 million, including assumed net debt. The deal will combine Kodiak’s contract compression fleet with CSI Compressco’s compression, treating, gas cooling, and aftermarket services capabilities, targeting synergies and accretion to Kodiak’s cash flows.

GCS, headquartered in Midland, Texas, is a global distributor and manufacturer of OEM and aftermarket parts for reciprocating natural gas engines and compressors; Lion Equity said the acquisition will support growth, capability expansion, and operational improvements in the natural gas compression aftermarket.

SOLV Energy Acquires Spartan Infrastructure
