CleanCapital acquired a portfolio of 40 solar assets totaling 22.7 MW from Kendall Sustainable Infrastructure (KSI), expanding its operating distributed solar footprint across Vermont, New York and California. Manulife Investment Management and its institutional co-investors committed an additional $145 million of equity to CleanCapital to fund development, construction and future acquisitions; the sale closes out KSI’s first fund dedicated to community solar.

Kingsbridge Holdings Acquires Technology Finance Corporation

Kingsbridge Holdings LLC has acquired Technology Finance Corporation (TFC), a Scottsdale-based provider of IT equipment and software leasing and financing for small and mid-sized businesses. The deal, terms undisclosed, expands Kingsbridge's leasing platform and capabilities in the SMB IT leasing and vendor finance channels; Kingsbridge is majority-owned by private equity firm TZP Group.

424 Capital Acquires QE Solar

424 Capital has completed the acquisition of QE Solar, a Cranford, New Jersey-based provider of operations and maintenance (O&M) services for commercial, industrial, and utility-scale solar and battery energy storage systems. The investment will provide capital to support QE Solar's nationwide workforce growth and expand its capabilities in solar and battery storage services; QE Solar employs over 80 field technicians and engineers and services more than 2.0 GW of C&I solar installations.

KKR Makes Minority Investment in Sol Systems

The company also completed the acquisition of Kimmeridge-backed community solar developer U.S. Light Energy, adding a pipeline of more than 250 MW and deepening its distributed solar footprint.

Soltech Energy Sweden acquires Sesol Group from Nordic Capital

Soltech Energy Sweden AB (publ) has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of Sesol Group AB, a solar energy company. The purchase price will be paid with newly issued Soltech shares, making Nordic Capital the company’s largest shareholder with roughly 30% ownership post-transaction. The deal is subject to regulatory approvals and approval by an Extraordinary General Meeting.
