SLB Acquires Gyrodata Incorporated

SLB announced it has entered into an agreement to acquire Gyrodata Incorporated, a provider of gyroscopic wellbore positioning and survey technology. The transaction is expected to integrate Gyrodata’s technologies into SLB’s Well Construction business to improve wellbore quality, reduce drilling risk, and enhance drilling efficiency.
