BTG Positioning Systems has acquired US-based GPR, Inc., gaining exclusive access to GPR's patented ground-penetrating radar positioning technology to strengthen BTG's port automation product suite. The acquisition accelerates development of a new Ground Sensing Localisation (GSL) solution (target launch 2026) enabling highly accurate, GPS-independent positioning for cranes, autonomous vehicles and other port equipment.

Kerv Acquires Gyrocom

Gordon Technologies Acquires Lodestar International and MaxWell Downhole Technology

Gordon Technologies LLC, a Pelican Energy Partners–backed provider of measurement-while-drilling (MWD) and vibration-mitigation tools, has acquired Lodestar International, LLC and its wholly owned subsidiary MaxWell Downhole Technology Limited. The deal adds Lodestar's downhole dynamics-while-drilling (DWD) measurement tools and international R&D/service capabilities to Gordon's existing product portfolio as an add-on to expand capabilities and product offerings.

SAM Acquires GdB Geospatial

Hexagon AB to Acquire Inertial Sense

Hexagon AB has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Inertial Sense, a Utah-based developer of compact tactical-grade inertial navigation systems and GNSS+INS solutions. The acquisition is expected to close in the first half of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals, and will expand Hexagon’s assured positioning, navigation, and timing capabilities for aerospace, defense, robotics, and unmanned systems.

Ingersoll-Rand plc Acquires GPSi Holdings, LLC

Ingersoll-Rand plc has agreed to acquire GPSi Holdings, LLC from Falconhead Capital, LLC to strengthen its telematics and connected technologies portfolio. GPSi, a Sarasota, Florida–based provider of cloud-based telematics and fleet management solutions serving markets such as education, golf and resorts, will expand Ingersoll-Rand's digital connectivity offerings for mobile assets.
