Sigma7, a Growth Catalyst Partners-backed risk information and services platform, has acquired Alaco Limited, a London-based business intelligence and strategic intelligence advisory firm, from co-founders Amy Lashinsky and Ambrose Carey. The add-on expands Sigma7’s global risk and intelligence capabilities and will see Alaco integrate with Sigma7’s group while key practice leaders remain in place.

Strata Information Group Acquires Triaxiom Security

Veteran risk executive Andrew Hersh, in partnership with private equity firm Growth Catalyst Partners, launched Sigma7 — a risk services platform — and closed three foundational acquisitions: Strategia Worldwide, Paragon (risk engineering) and RWH Myers (forensic accounting). The combined assets provide Sigma7 with an installed client base of 300+ large global organizations and roughly 150 employees across multiple countries as it pursues rapid organic and acquisitive growth.
