Siemens Digital Industries Software has acquired Canopus AI, a Grenoble-based developer of AI-driven metrology and inspection software for semiconductor wafer and mask inspection. The acquisition integrates Canopus AI’s AI-enabled metrology capabilities into Siemens’ Calibre/EDA portfolio to improve inspection fidelity, accelerate yield ramp and expand Siemens’ semiconductor manufacturing digital thread.
