Salesforce Acquires Informatica for $8 Billion

Salesforce has acquired Informatica in an approximately $8 billion equity-value deal, paying $25 per share in cash to Informatica’s Class A and Class B-1 common stockholders. The acquisition is intended to strengthen Salesforce’s “Agentforce 360” by embedding Informatica’s enterprise cloud data management capabilities—catalog, integration, governance, quality/privacy, metadata management, and master data management—into Salesforce’s data platform.
