Relevate Health, backed by Mountaingate Capital, has acquired Boston-based Axon Communications to expand its healthcare marketing and HCP engagement capabilities. The acquisition adds Axon's proprietary digital products (MyDoc, KOLCast, REPCast) and national video production infrastructure to Relevate's data-driven, omnichannel marketing platform for pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device clients.

The Rise Fund / Matrix Renewables Acquire 1GW of Solar PV Projects from Trina Solar

The Rise Fund (part of TPG) and newly created, Madrid-based Matrix Renewables have acquired approximately 1 GW of operational, under-construction, and near ready-to-build solar PV projects from Trina Solar. The assets—located across Spain, Chile, Colombia and Mexico—will form the initial portfolio of Matrix Renewables as TPG and The Rise Fund build a global renewable energy platform.

Takkion Holdings Acquires Renew Energy, Inc.

Takkion Holdings LLC, a portfolio company backed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management, has acquired Sioux Falls-based Renew Energy, Inc., a provider of operations and maintenance (O&M) services for the renewable energy market. The acquisition expands Takkion's capabilities in wind and solar logistics, supply chain, transportation management and O&M, and RENEW's management team and brand will remain intact as part of the combined platform.

ENGIE Acquires Broad Reach Power

ENGIE has acquired Broad Reach Power, a Houston-based developer and operator of utility-scale battery energy storage systems, from investors including EnCap Energy Transition and Apollo funds. The deal—reported to be for an equity value of over $1 billion—strengthens ENGIE's battery-storage capabilities and advances its objective to reach 10 GW of battery capacity by 2030 while reinforcing its position in the United States energy transition.

BluEarth Acquires 1 GW U.S. Wind and Solar Development Portfolio from Ozone Renewables

BluEarth Renewables US LLC acquired seven wind and solar development projects totaling approximately 1 GW from Ozone Renewables, LLC. The projects—located across Washington, Oregon, Ohio and Oklahoma—will be developed under a development services agreement with Pivot Power Management to advance BluEarth's North American pipeline.

Brookfield Acquires National Grid Renewables; Rebrands as Geronimo Power

Brookfield Asset Management, together with its institutional partners including Brookfield Renewable Partners, completed the acquisition of National Grid Renewables from National Grid plc and will operate the business under the Geronimo Power brand. The Minneapolis-headquartered company develops and operates utility-scale solar, wind and energy storage (about 2 GW operating, 1 GW under construction and ~20 GW in development) and will continue scaling Brookfield’s U.S. renewables platform.
