Informatica (NYSE: INFA) said it intends to acquire Privitar to bolster cloud data access management and governance capabilities within Informatica’s Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) platform. The deal will integrate Privitar’s data access controls and data privacy/remediation capabilities to support governed and trusted use of data across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
