Yelp Acquires Hatch (Hatchify) for $270 Million to Expand AI-Driven Services SaaS

Yelp has agreed to acquire AI-powered lead-management and customer-communication platform Hatch in a cash deal valued at approximately $270 million, plus about $30 million in retention payments over two to three years. The transaction was completed on February 2, 2026, with Hatch becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of Yelp.

Go Global Retail and Janie and Jack Acquire HATCH Collection

The deal brings the premium maternity brand HATCH into the Janie and Jack family to expand the group's reach into early parenthood and accelerate omnichannel growth, financed in part by a senior secured credit facility from MidCap Financial.

SPUR Acquisitions Acquires Piranha Brands

The transaction was advised by The Forbes M+A Group; SPUR said the acquisition will support new leadership and future growth under Rob Mossman.

eBay Acquires Terapeak

eBay acquired Toronto-based Terapeak, a provider of e-commerce market, pricing and supply/demand analytics, and began integrating Terapeak capabilities into its Seller Hub to give merchants better insights. Terapeak's team joined eBay’s B2C Selling and Seller Experience groups; financial terms were not disclosed.
