OneSpan Acquires Build38 to Expand Next-Generation Mobile App Protection

OneSpan has acquired Build38, a next-generation mobile application protection provider, to expand OneSpan’s SDK-based mobile security capabilities. The deal is designed to strengthen OneSpan’s App Shielding offering by combining Build38’s in-app Runtime Application Self-Protection (RASP) approach with cloud-delivered threat intelligence and AI-driven defenses. OneSpan says the integrated solution will provide deeper in-app protection, better device-level telemetry, and improved visibility and response to evolving mobile-channel attacks for banks and enterprises.
