Mitsubishi Electric Power Products Acquires Computer Protection Technology

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) acquired Computer Protection Technology (CPT), a critical power service and solutions provider in Southern California. The deal strengthens MEPPI’s service capabilities by combining critical power equipment with UPS and power-protection service support. Macquarie Acquires SP Smart Meter Assets Limited from ScottishPower/Iberdrola

Macquarie Specialised and Asset Finance (part of Macquarie Group) has completed the acquisition of SP Smart Meter Assets Limited (SPSMAL) from ScottishPower/Iberdrola for around £900 million. The deal adds ~2.9 million smart meters to Macquarie's UK portfolio and establishes a long-term Meter Asset Provision arrangement with ScottishPower to support the ongoing smart meter rollout.
