MidEuropa Acquires Pigu and Combines It with Hobby Hall Group to Create Leading Baltic E‑Commerce Platform

MidEuropa has acquired a majority stake in UAB Pigu and completed a simultaneous acquisition and combination with Hobby Hall Group OÜ, creating a leading e-commerce and marketplace group operating across Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and with a growing presence in Finland. MidEuropa will be the majority shareholder supported by MCI.Euroventures, while founding shareholders retain significant stakes; the combined group serves millions of registered customers and thousands of merchants on its proprietary marketplace.

An affiliate of H.I.G. Capital (H.I.G. Europe) signed a definitive agreement to acquire Lagardère Sports from the Lagardère Group, which will retain a 24.9% minority stake. Lagardère Sports is a global sports-marketing firm with ~1,300 employees and more than €450 million in annual sales; H.I.G. plans to rebrand the company, install Stefan Felsing as CEO and pursue growth pending antitrust clearance.
