Micron Technology acquired FWDNXT, a Purdue-affiliated AI hardware and software startup, to integrate its inference engine into Micron’s Deep Learning Accelerator (DLA) and create a comprehensive AI development platform. The acquisition brings together FWDNXT’s edge AI hardware/software capabilities with Micron’s memory expertise to accelerate development of memory-optimized AI workloads for IoT, edge computing, healthcare imaging and scientific research.

Cisco to Acquire NeuralFabric to Expand Enterprise AI Capabilities

Cisco announced its intention to acquire NeuralFabric, a Seattle-area provider of enterprise AI platforms, to accelerate delivery of domain-specific (small language model) capabilities for enterprises. The company expects the acquisition to close in the second quarter of Cisco’s fiscal year 2026 and says NeuralFabric’s modular model-development tools will strengthen Cisco’s enterprise AI platform initiatives such as Cisco AI Canvas.

Lumine Group Acquires Neural Technologies

Lumine Group, a division of Volaris Group, has completed the acquisition of Neural Technologies Ltd, a UK-based provider of revenue protection, signalling, machine learning and AI software for telecom operators. The transaction strengthens Lumine’s communications and media software portfolio by adding Neural’s revenue assurance, fraud management and ML/AI capabilities as an add-on to its existing platform.

Accenture To Acquire NeuraFlash

Accenture has agreed to acquire NeuraFlash, a Salesforce and generative AI consulting company specializing in agentic solutions for sales, service, and field service operations. The acquisition is intended to expand Accenture’s Salesforce gen AI and managed services capabilities and strengthen its presence with mid-market clients globally. Terms were not disclosed and the deal remains subject to customary closing conditions, including antitrust approvals.

MaxLinear Acquires NanoSemi, Inc.

MaxLinear, Inc. (NYSE: MXL) completed the acquisition of NanoSemi, Inc., a Boston-based MIT spinout that develops patented machine-learning IP to improve signal integrity and power efficiency in SoCs, ASICs and FPGAs. The initial consideration included $10 million in cash and 804,163 shares of MaxLinear common stock, plus $35 million in deferred cash and up to $35 million in potential earnouts; the deal expands MaxLinear's capabilities for 5G and wireless system customers.

DeFi Technologies Acquires Majority Stake in Neuronomics AG
