Hitachi, through its U.S. subsidiary GlobalLogic, has agreed to acquire synvert, a German data and AI consulting firm, as a wholly owned subsidiary. The deal is expected to close in Hitachi’s fiscal year ending March 2026, subject to regulatory approval, aiming to accelerate deployment of Hitachi’s HMAX suite (Agentic and Physical AI) and expand synvert’s footprint across Europe and the Middle East.

MaxLinear entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Silicon Motion in a cash-and-stock transaction valued at $3.8 billion for Silicon Motion (about $8 billion enterprise value).
