Agile Defense, a PE-backed government technology provider, has acquired IntelliBridge, a digital transformation and mission-focused technology firm supporting defense, homeland security, and federal civilian customers. Both companies are backed by Enlightenment Capital; the combination expands Agile Defense’s capabilities in data analytics, cyber, and AI and doubles the organization to more than 2,000 employees, while Agile Defense also announced a strategic partnership with Second Front Systems to accelerate AI-enabled DevSecOps delivery.

IntelliBridge Acquires Alethix LLC

McLean-based IntelliBridge Inc. has acquired Fairfax-based Alethix LLC in a deal that was not disclosed publicly. The acquisition doubles IntelliBridge's workforce to roughly 600 employees and expands its enterprise systems engineering, DevSecOps and cloud modernization capabilities for federal clients. IntelliBridge is a platform backed by private equity firm Enlightenment Capital.

Trowbridge & Trowbridge Acquires IntelliWare Systems

Enlightenment Capital-backed Trowbridge & Trowbridge has acquired Fredericksburg-based IntelliWare Systems and combined the businesses under the new name IntelliBridge. The combined firm will offer cloud, cyber, intelligence and digital services to defense, intelligence and federal civilian customers and has more than 600 employees; several leadership appointments were announced following the deal.

Applied Insight Acquires Bridges Inc.

Applied Insight, a portfolio company of The Acacia Group, has acquired Bridges Inc., a Maryland-based cyber security, network engineering and big data analytics firm serving the U.S. intelligence community. The deal brings Bridges' cross-domain, AI analytics and network security capabilities into Applied Insight’s cloud and emulation product suite and expands its IP and mission-focused services for federal/intelligence customers.

SoftBank Group to Acquire DigitalBridge for $4 Billion to Scale Next-Gen AI Infrastructure

SoftBank Group entered into a definitive agreement to acquire DigitalBridge Group, an alternative asset manager focused on digital infrastructure, for about $4.0 billion enterprise value. The all-cash deal is structured as SoftBank’s indirect acquisition of all outstanding shares of DigitalBridge for $16.00 per share and is expected to close in the second half of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals.

Accenture to Acquire BRIDGEi2i

Accenture has entered into an agreement to acquire BRIDGEi2i, an AI and analytics firm headquartered in Bangalore, India. The deal is intended to expand Accenture’s Applied Intelligence capabilities in data science, machine learning, and AI-powered insights, adding more than 800 professionals. Financial terms are not disclosed, and completion is subject to customary closing conditions.
