Infowave Software Acquires Telispark

Infowave Software (TSX: IW) has entered into an agreement to acquire control of Telispark Inc., a provider of enterprise mobility applications, for US$8.4 million payable primarily in Infowave common shares. The deal gives Infowave the remaining Telispark shares (after an initial ~76% purchase) subject to closing conditions; Deloitte Consulting L.P., the largest Telispark shareholder, will hold ~19% of Infowave upon closing. The acquisition expands Infowave's enterprise mobile application capabilities and strengthens its offering into verticals such as Energy, Utilities and Government.
