BradyIFS to Merge with Envoy Solutions in Partnership with Kelso and Warburg Pincus

BradyIFS and Envoy Solutions announced plans to merge, combining BradyIFS’ foodservice disposables and JanSan distribution with Envoy Solutions’ JanSan, foodservice, industrial packaging, and marketing execution capabilities. The transaction is expected to close in the coming months subject to regulatory approval and customary closing conditions, with Kelso and Warburg Pincus (along with BradyIFS management) becoming majority owners and FEMSA maintaining a significant minority stake.

Kelso & Company Acquires Individual FoodService

Kelso & Company has acquired a majority equity interest in Individual FoodService (IFS), a Bell, California-based distributor of foodservice disposables, packaging and janitorial/sanitation products, from prior investor Sole Source Capital. Kelso said it will partner with IFS management to accelerate the company's acquisition strategy, expand capabilities and invest in operations; Kenneth Sweder was appointed Chairman of the IFS board.

Brady Industries Acquires Majority Interest in Campbell Paper

Brady Industries, a portfolio company of A&M Capital Partners II, has acquired a majority interest in Campbell Paper, a Fort Worth-based regional distributor of janitorial, packaging and office supplies. The deal expands Brady's Texas footprint, adds industrial packaging and food-processing capabilities, and increases its distribution capacity via Campbell's 39,000 sq. ft. Fort Worth facility.

The deal (terms undisclosed) expands BradyPLUS's geographic footprint and capabilities in the New York metro market and brings TED Supply's team and customer relationships into the BradyPLUS organization.
