IMCD to Acquire Tillmanns S.p.A.

IMCD has announced an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares of Tillmanns S.p.A., a specialty chemicals distributor and innovator based in Milan, Italy. The deal is expected to strengthen IMCD’s footprint and operational capacity in Italy, with completion anticipated in the fourth quarter of 2025 subject to regulatory approvals.

Azelis Acquires Whitfield Chemical Group (WhitChem) in the UK

Azelis has acquired 100% of the shares of Whitfield Chemical Group Limited, the parent company of WhitChem, strengthening Azelis' industrial chemicals footprint in the UK and EMEA. WhitChem, a UK-based distributor focused on CASE and R&PA, employs about 30 staff and will keep its management in place to support integration and growth.

Vertellus, a Pritzker Private Capital‑backed specialty chemicals manufacturer based in Indianapolis, acquired IM Chemicals — the intermediates and specialties division of ESIM Chemicals — to expand its specialty ingredients portfolio and add European manufacturing capacity. The deal was announced in June 2021 and completed in October 2021, enabling Vertellus to broaden product offerings for pharmaceuticals, coatings and fuel & lubricant markets.

Imperial Dade Acquires North Alabama Chemical
