Bailey International, backed by EBSCO Capital, has acquired Industrial Electronic Controls (IEC) to expand its electronics product portfolio and engineering capabilities in electronic throttles, displays, and sensors. The deal strengthens Bailey’s ability to serve OEM customers across agriculture, construction, forestry and transportation with more integrated mobile and industrial electronic control solutions.

IEWC Acquires Simcona Electronics (Rochester), Preserving Local Footprint

Simcona Electronics Corp., a Rochester-based supplier and manufacturer of industrial electronic components and custom control solutions, has been acquired by IEWC, a Wisconsin-based global distributor and manufacturer of wire, cable and connectivity solutions. The deal preserves Simcona’s Rochester workforce and local leadership, with the business transitioning to an ESOP and Marc Iacona continuing as president of the local division.

Electrical Components International Acquires BHC Cable Assemblies

Electrical Components International Acquires Britech, Inc.

Electrical Components International (ECI), a Cerberus-backed global supplier of electrical distribution systems and assemblies, has acquired Britech, Inc., a specialty manufacturer of wire harnesses, cable assemblies and control panels based in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The acquisition expands ECI's capabilities and presence in the high-growth global semiconductor market and will keep Britech operating under its current management at its 50,000 sq. ft. Allentown facility.

HKW Acquires Electric Equipment & Engineering Co.

HKW, a middle-market private equity firm, has acquired Electric Equipment & Engineering Co. (EEE), a Denver-based designer and manufacturer of electrical power distribution products serving data centers, telecommunications, broadband and utilities. The company was owned by the third-generation Morroni family prior to the transaction; financial terms were not disclosed and financing was provided by Barings and Siguler Guff.
