IBM Acquires Instana

IBM announced a definitive agreement to acquire Instana, an application performance monitoring and observability company headquartered in Chicago, to strengthen IBM's hybrid cloud and AI-powered automation capabilities. The deal (financial terms not disclosed) will integrate Instana's observability platform with IBM's Watson AIOps and Cloud Paks to help customers manage complex, cloud-native applications across hybrid environments.

IBM Acquires Seek AI

Seek AI will join IBM’s new Watsonx AI Labs in New York City and relocate its headquarters to One Madison, with the technology integrated into IBM’s enterprise AI offerings to accelerate its AI capabilities.

IBM to Acquire Turbonomic

The acquisition expands IBM’s hybrid cloud and AI capabilities by adding Turbonomic’s AIOps-driven optimization and observability technology to IBM’s Cloud Pak for Watson AIOps and Instana offerings.

Morgan Stanley to Acquire EquityZen

Morgan Stanley has entered into an agreement to acquire EquityZen, a private-shares marketplace that connects shareholders of private companies with accredited investors. The deal is designed to strengthen Morgan Stanley’s private markets ecosystem by combining EquityZen’s issuer-aligned cap table integration and private shares marketplace with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management’s private markets offerings. The transaction is expected to close in early 2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals.

IBM Acquires Manta Software Inc.
