Eaton Acquires Resilient Power Systems

Eaton signed an agreement to acquire Resilient Power Systems Inc., a North American developer and manufacturer of innovative energy solutions, including solid-state transformer-based technology. The deal is expected to close in the third quarter of 2025 (subject to customary closing conditions), and Eaton expects the acquisition to strengthen its medium-voltage power distribution offerings for markets such as data centers and energy storage.

Resilience Acquires BreachQuest

Resilience has acquired BreachQuest, a Dallas-based incident response technology provider, to strengthen its incident response and forensics capabilities against Business Email Compromise (BEC) and other cyber threats. The integration will embed BreachQuest's cloud-office forensics and automation tools into Resilience's claim and incident management offerings to accelerate response times and reduce incident costs for clients.

Partners Group Acquires Resilient Infrastructure Group

Partners Group has acquired Resilient Infrastructure Group, a Portland-based water infrastructure platform that develops, finances and operates distributed water and wastewater facilities across the US and Canada. Financial terms were not disclosed; Partners Group said it will work with Resilient’s management to expand the platform through development projects, acquisitions and strategic partnerships, and noted Resilient has closed an investment in a wastewater-to-renewable natural gas project at Threemile Canyon Farms in Oregon.

IBM Acquires Randori

IBM announced plans to acquire Randori, a Waltham, Massachusetts-based attack surface management and offensive security provider. IBM will integrate Randori's ASM and continuous automated red teaming capabilities into IBM Security (including QRadar XDR and X-Force) to strengthen its hybrid cloud and AI-powered cybersecurity offerings; financial terms were not disclosed.

IBM Acquires Instana

IBM announced a definitive agreement to acquire Instana, an application performance monitoring and observability company headquartered in Chicago, to strengthen IBM's hybrid cloud and AI-powered automation capabilities. The deal (financial terms not disclosed) will integrate Instana's observability platform with IBM's Watson AIOps and Cloud Paks to help customers manage complex, cloud-native applications across hybrid environments.

Accenture Acquires Revolutionary Security

Accenture LLP has acquired 100% of the membership interests of Revolutionary Security LLC, a Philadelphia-area cybersecurity consultancy that specializes in IT and OT security, breach and attack simulation, and security operations. The deal will expand Accenture Security's capabilities, particularly for industrial and critical infrastructure clients across energy, manufacturing, healthcare and financial services.
