Hyperion Metals has executed a one-year option agreement to acquire Blacksand Technology, LLC, an advanced metals R&D company developing patented low-carbon, low-cost titanium metal and powder technologies. If the option is exercised, the combination aims to create a sustainable advanced materials and critical minerals market leader, leveraging Blacksand’s HAMR technology, patent portfolio, and Utah titanium powder facility.
