Hologic Acquires Gynesonics

Hologic, Inc. completed its previously announced acquisition of Gynesonics, a privately held medical device company focused on minimally invasive solutions for women’s health, for about $350 million. Gynesonics develops the Sonata System for diagnostic intrauterine imaging and incision-less transcervical treatment of certain symptomatic uterine fibroids.
