Hitachi Industrial Equipment Systems Acquires Telesis Technologies

Hitachi Industrial Equipment Systems Co., Ltd. (HIES), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd., has acquired Telesis Technologies, Inc., a U.S.-based manufacturer of laser and dot-peen marking equipment. The acquisition expands HIES's marking and coding product portfolio and gives Hitachi access to Telesis's AI-enabled vision, laser marking technologies, and global service channels to accelerate growth in coding and marking markets.
