Hexagon AB has agreed to acquire Qognify, a provider of physical-security and incident-management software, from Battery Ventures. Terms were not disclosed and the deal remains subject to customary regulatory review; Hexagon plans to integrate Qognify into its public safety suite to expand capabilities in video surveillance and incident response.

Hexagon AB acquired ETQ, a Massachusetts-based provider of SaaS quality (QMS), EHS and compliance management software, for $1.2 billion in cash on a debt- and cash-free basis. ETQ—headquartered in Burlington, Massachusetts with ~185 employees and expected 2022 revenue of ~$75M—will join Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence division to accelerate Hexagon’s cloud journey and expand its quality-management capabilities across manufacturing and regulated industries.

The acquisition is expected to close in the first half of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals, and will expand Hexagon’s assured positioning, navigation, and timing capabilities for aerospace, defense, robotics, and unmanned systems.
