The acquisition will integrate OpsRamp’s hybrid digital operations and AIOps capabilities with the HPE GreenLake edge-to-cloud platform to expand HPE’s hybrid cloud and IT operations management offerings; the deal is expected to close in HPE’s Q3 fiscal 2023 subject to customary approvals.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has completed the acquisition of Athonet, a Vicenza, Italy–based private cellular/mobile core software provider, integrating Athonet’s private 4G/5G core technology into HPE’s edge-to-cloud, Aruba networking and GreenLake offerings. The deal strengthens HPE’s private 5G capability, enabling integrated Wi‑Fi and private 5G deployments for enterprises and communications service providers and accelerating go-to-market at global scale.
