Affiliates of SK Capital Partners acquired a majority interest in Ecopol S.p.A., a Italy-headquartered producer of water‑soluble and biodegradable films, while CEO Mauro Carbone and minority investor Tikehau Capital retain significant stakes. The investment will support Ecopol's continued expansion of production capacity — including its new U.S. facility in Griffin, Georgia — and accelerate entry into new markets and applications for sustainable delivery systems.

Ecobat Agrees to Sell Germany and Austria Battery Recycling Operations to Clarios

Ecore International Acquires HTI Recycling

Ecore International, a Lancaster, Pennsylvania-based circularity and reclaimed-rubber products company, has acquired HTI Recycling and its subsidiaries Edge Rubber Recycling and D&G Heavy Equipment Leasing. The deal expands Ecore's supply chain and crumb-rubber manufacturing capabilities in the U.S. Northeast and brings approximately 81 HTI employees into Ecore's organization.

Aliplast Acquires Gurit Italia PET Recycling Site

Aliplast, a subsidiary controlled by Herambiente (Hera Group), has acquired Gurit Italia’s PET recycling business unit and integrated the Carmignano di Brenta (Padua) plant. The acquisition adds roughly 15,000 tonnes per year of PET recycling capacity and will allow Aliplast to integrate new grinding, washing and extrusion lines suitable for food-contact and fiber uses while optimising logistics and storage capacity.
