GTCR Recapitalizes PathGroup

GTCR has made a majority investment in PathGroup Holdings LLC in a recapitalization that leaves founder and CEO Dr. Ben Davis and the PathGroup management team substantially reinvested. Pritzker Private Capital and Vesey Street Capital Partners will retain minority stakes; the investment will fund geographic expansion (including into Texas), capability building across pathology, molecular and genetic diagnostics, and strategic M&A, and names Dave King as board chairman.
