GMF Capital Acquires Motorsport Network Media LLC

GMF Capital, the single-family office of Gary Fegel, has acquired a controlling majority stake in Motorsport Network Media LLC, a global digital motorsport and automotive media platform, for an undisclosed amount with an option to buy remaining minority interests later. The deal transfers nearly 50 flagship motorsport and automotive digital properties (including Motorsport.com, Autosport, Motor1.com, InsideEVs.com and Motorsport.tv) to GMF as it expands into the sports, automotive and media sector.

Getty Images and Shutterstock entered into a definitive merger agreement to combine in a “merger of equals,” creating a premier visual content company with an enterprise value of about $3.7 billion. The combined company will be named Getty Images Holdings and will continue to trade on the New York Stock Exchange under ticker GETY.
