SEGA SAMMY HOLDINGS INC., via its affiliate SEGA SAMMY CREATION INC. (SSC), completed the acquisition of GAN Limited. Under the merger, each GAN ordinary share was cancelled and converted into the right to receive $1.97 in cash per share.

Silver Lake Acquires 100% of Grupo BC from L-GAM

Stran & Company Acquires Strategic Assets of Gander Group

Stran & Company, through its newly formed subsidiary Stran Loyalty Solutions, acquired the assets and assumed certain liabilities of Bangarang Enterprises, LLC (d/b/a Gander Group) via a secured-party sale. Gander Group, headquartered in Irvine, California, generated over $34 million in revenue in 2023; its CEO Josh Blake and COO Bruce Batcheller will join Stran Loyalty Solutions as the acquisition expands Stran's casino continuity and loyalty capabilities and supports cross-selling into gaming and entertainment markets.

Silverback United Acquires Headstart AI (Headstart.io)

Silverback United, Inc. completed an all-stock acquisition of UK-based Headstart AI, Inc. (Headstart.io) in a transaction announced Aug. 18, 2022, described as a $14 million acquisition. Headstart will remain an independent, wholly owned subsidiary headquartered in London; Silverback's CEO Ron Bienvenu will serve as interim CEO of Headstart while co‑founder Nicholas Shekerdemian joins Silverback’s board. Spear Point Advisors served as Silverback’s exclusive financial advisor, and the deal is intended to accelerate Silverback’s data-asset strategy and expand Headstart’s access to the U.S. market.

Gaming and Leisure Properties Acquires Three Casino Resorts from Strategic Gaming Management

Gaming and Leisure Properties (GLPI) purchased the real estate assets of Baldini’s Casino (Nevada), the Silverado Franklin Hotel & Gaming Complex (South Dakota) and the Deadwood Mountain Grand (South Dakota) for $105 million, plus $5 million in capital improvement proceeds (total investment $110 million). GLPI entered 25‑year cross‑defaulted triple‑net leases with tenant Strategic Gaming Management (with two 10‑year renewal options), agreed initial aggregate annual cash rent of $9.2 million, and secured a right of first refusal on future Strategic acquisitions until Strategic’s adjusted EBITDAR reaches $40 million annualized.

Adventure Box Technology AB Acquires Lion Gaming Group Inc.

Adventure Box Technology AB completed the acquisition of all shares in Lion Gaming Group Inc. for approximately SEK 467 million, settled via issuance of consideration shares at SEK 0.40 per share. The transaction makes Lion shareholders the majority owners (≈94.88%), and strengthens Adventure Box's technology capabilities and global footprint in the iGaming sector.
