Converge Technology Solutions Corp. signed a definitive agreement to acquire CarpeDatum Consulting, Inc., a Denver-based IBM Analytics consulting firm and Alteryx Preferred Partner. The acquisition, expected to close January 4, 2021, adds analytics, AI and performance-management capabilities to Converge's AI & Analytics practice and supports expansion across its Central and Western U.S. regions.

Validere, a Calgary-based energy data analytics SaaS provider, has completed the acquisition of Phoenix Energy Consultants, a Western Canada-based transportation and marketing optimization advisor for crude oil, natural gas, NGL and sulfur producers. The deal makes Phoenix a wholly owned subsidiary of Validere and enables Validere to offer clients back-office commercial execution and marketing expertise alongside its molecule-level data and ESG insights.
