Koch Equity Development Agrees to Acquire iconectiv from Ericsson and Francisco Partners

Koch Equity Development LLC (KED), the investment and acquisition arm of Koch, Inc., has signed an agreement to acquire iconectiv, LLC from Ericsson and affiliates of Francisco Partners. iconectiv will become a wholly-owned independent subsidiary of KED and continue to be managed by its leadership team based in Bridgewater, New Jersey, with regulatory approvals required and a target closing in Q1 2025.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Acquires Silver Peak for $925M

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire SD-WAN leader Silver Peak for approximately $925 million in cash. Silver Peak will be combined with HPE's Aruba business unit to extend Aruba's Edge Services Platform and accelerate HPE's edge-to-cloud networking strategy; the deal is expected to close in HPE's fiscal Q4 2020 subject to regulatory approvals.

DigitalBridge has formed EdgePoint Infrastructure, a Southeast Asia-focused wireless towers platform led by Suresh Sidhu, and is building scale through multiple acquisitions and asset purchases. EdgePoint has secured over 10,000 sites across Indonesia and Malaysia, including a controlling stake in PT Centratama Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk, the purchase of 4,247 towers from Indosat Ooredoo (sale‑leaseback), and the acquisition of Asiaspace in Malaysia to accelerate 5G infrastructure deployment.

Aeris Acquires Ericsson's IoT Accelerator and Connected Vehicle Cloud Businesses

Aeris has closed the acquisition of Ericsson's IoT Accelerator (IoT-A) and Connected Vehicle Cloud (CVC) businesses and related assets; Ericsson will take a small ownership stake in the new Aeris. The deal combines Aeris' IoT platform with Ericsson's IoT and connected-vehicle technology to create a larger global IoT-first connectivity management service platform serving automotive, fleet, utilities, healthcare and other enterprise customers.

Bain Capital Private Equity and Crosspoint Capital Partners to Acquire ExtraHop

ExtraHop, a Seattle-based leader in cloud-native network detection and response, has agreed to be acquired by Bain Capital Private Equity and Crosspoint Capital Partners in a transaction valued at $900 million. The deal will keep ExtraHop's CEO Arif Kareem and co-founders in leadership and is intended to accelerate product innovation and growth across multi-cloud, IoT, and enterprise environments.
