EQT Enters Exclusive Talks to Acquire Ocea Group from ICG Infra

EQT Active Core Infrastructure has entered exclusive negotiations to acquire Ocea Group, a French water and heat submetering infrastructure provider, from ICG Infrastructure Equity I. Ocea operates more than four million submeters and serves over 7,000 public and private customers under long-term inflation-linked contracts; EQT intends to support the company’s growth across core submetering and adjacent digital and sustainable solutions.

Eiffage Énergie Systèmes Acquires EQOS from Triton

Funds advised by Triton have signed an agreement to sell EQOS, a European specialty installation and service company focused on energy, telecoms and rail infrastructure, to Eiffage Énergie Systèmes. Terms were not disclosed; under Triton EQOS reached ~EUR 459m revenue and ~1,700 employees, and Eiffage said the acquisition will help it enter and densify energy infrastructure markets in Germany and Austria.

EQT and GIC Acquire Majority Stake in Calisen

EQT (via its Active Core Infrastructure fund) and Singapore sovereign investor GIC will acquire a majority stake in UK smart-metering and energy infrastructure owner Calisen from funds managed by Global Infrastructure Partners, Goldman Sachs Alternatives’ infrastructure business, and Mubadala Investment Company. The deal values Calisen at about £4.0 billion; Equitix will remain a minority investor and the transaction is subject to regulatory approvals. The new owners plan to support Calisen’s rollout of smart meters and expansion into adjacent energy-transition services such as EV charging, solar/battery and heat-pump installation.

EQT Infrastructure to Acquire Majority Stake in Trescal from OMERS

EQT Infrastructure V has entered exclusive negotiations to acquire a majority stake in Trescal, the Paris-headquartered global leader in calibration laboratories, from OMERS Private Equity, which will remain a minority investor. Trescal operates more than 380 laboratories across 29 countries with ~4,400 employees and ~€450m in annual revenue; EQT will support the company's geographic expansion, digitization and capability development.

EQT (via Otello BidCo AB) Acquires OX2 AB

EQT Infrastructure VI, through acquisition vehicle Otello BidCo AB, completed a recommended public offer to acquire 100% of OX2 AB at SEK 60 per share and now controls 98.81% of the company; OX2 has applied for delisting from Nasdaq Stockholm. EQT says it will support OX2's evolution from a pure developer to an integrated renewables developer and asset owner and provide additional investment to grow the company's pipeline across onshore/offshore wind, solar and storage.
