AeroVironment, Inc. has acquired Planck Aerosystems, a San Diego-based developer of advanced unmanned aircraft navigation and autonomy solutions. The acquisition will accelerate AeroVironment's autonomy capabilities by integrating Planck's embedded Autonomous Control Engine (ACE) and other technologies into its medium unmanned aircraft systems (MUAS) business, expanding capability for operations from moving platforms and in GPS-denied environments.

Nubank Acquires Hyperplane to Accelerate AI-First Strategy

Uniphore Acquires Orby AI and Autonom8

Versaterm Acquires Aloft to Integrate Airspace Intelligence Into Drone Operations Platform

Versaterm, a public safety technology provider, announced it is acquiring Aloft, an FAA-approved Unmanned Service Supplier (USS) that provides real-time airspace intelligence and flight authorization (including LAANC approvals). The deal will integrate Aloft’s airspace and authorization layer into DroneSense by Versaterm, which Versaterm acquired in July 2025 and has since integrated into its computer-aided dispatch system.

LatticeFlow AI Acquires AI Sonar Ltd.

Swiss deep-tech firm LatticeFlow AI has acquired Dublin-based AI Sonar Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of CloudSphere Ltd., to add on-prem AI discovery capabilities to its evidence-based AI governance platform. LatticeFlow assumes ownership of AI Sonar's platform, IP and engineering operations, establishes Dublin as an R&D hub, and will integrate AI Sonar's discovery capabilities with its centralized SaaS governance stack.
