DEME Acquires Havfram from Sandbrook Capital and PSP Investments

Sandbrook Capital and PSP Investments have signed an agreement to sell Havfram, an international offshore wind installation company, to DEME. The transaction is valued at approximately €900 million and is expected to close by the end of April 2025, subject to customary closing conditions.

A consortium of Hafslund Eco, Infranode and HitecVision has completed the acquisition of Fortum Oslo Varme, which will be renamed Hafslund Oslo Celsio. Hafslund Eco holds a 60% majority stake while Infranode and HitecVision hold 20% each; the partnership plans ~NOK 10 billion of investments including NOK 1.4 billion for a CCS project at the Klemetsrud waste-to-energy plant and major district cooling investments.

Denham Capital Acquires Solops to Build Distributed Solar Platform

Denham Capital, via its Sustainable Infrastructure business, has acquired Solops, a U.S. developer, financier, and owner/operator of commercial and industrial photovoltaic projects, with an initial $200 million commitment to execute Solops' 800+ MW project pipeline. Denham intends to support a buy-and-build growth plan, positioning Solops as an independent power producer (IPP) to accelerate deployment of distributed generation solar across the United States.

DOF Group ASA has completed the acquisition of Maersk Supply Service A/S from Maersk Supply Service Holding ApS / A.P. Moller Holding for a combination of cash (~USD 577m) and newly issued DOF shares, with MSSH receiving 58,883,073 consideration shares. After closing, A.P. Moller Holding will hold 25% of the combined company; Maersk’s offshore wind turbine installation business will remain with A.P. Moller Holding as the independent Maersk Offshore Wind.
