CMA CGM, via affiliate CMA Terminals Atlantic SA, will launch a mandatory tender offer for remaining shares and intends to consolidate control and pursue changes to Santos Brasil’s market listing and governance.

The transaction was completed alongside the closing of Carrefour’s acquisition of Cora France, and Carmila also holds a put option over an additional 7% stake managed by Primonial REIM France to take its ownership to 99.9% (implying total investment of €299 million).

SAS plans to file a tender offer with France’s AMF for the remaining Clasquin shares and intends to pursue a squeeze-out if conditions are met.
